Charter Films Super C Brochure

Charter Films offered Creative Concepts the challenge of taking their old Super C brochure and updating it.  This new brochure includes a new logo design, updated text, new photos and a modern layout.  Because Super C is the brand name for a popular family of films that can be used for many different types of applications, Charter needed the brochure to be versatile. It needs to serve as a promotional piece, but also contain a die cut pocket in which each of the product sell sheets could be included for technical purposes.  Four new sell sheets were designed to slide into the pocket at the end of the brochure.  Charter’s branding was carried over into the design of the pocket, as it was cut to match the bubble design in their corporate logo. The specialty pocket conveys the image of the company it represents, a small detail that speaks volumes without words.

Charter Films Converter Guide

Charter Films asked Creative Concepts to develop a new design for their Converter Guide. Charter uses this detailed brochure to help educate customers on the film selection, extrusion and converting processes.  The challenge was for Creative Concepts to take the old existing brochure and update the text, photos and layout.  We were able to eliminate the need for several pages by cutting down on the amount of repetition within the text, and by combining some of the graphical elements. In addition, illustrations needed to be re-drawn and new charts for technical data were developed.  The final result was a professional, high quality, multi-page brochure that has proven to be a more effective educational and sales tool for the Charter Films.

Charter Films’ Sell Sheets

Four sell sheets were designed for the Charter Films’ Super C product line.  These sell sheets can be printed or can be sent as an electronic marketing piece.  The four sell sheets, while different, contain elements that are similar, building continuity for the brand.  The back side (e-marketing page 2) contains a chart which includes technical data on all of the Super C products to help customers fine tune their film selections.

R&M Sell Sheet

R&M Mfg, Inc. is a precision machining, custom fabrication and assembly company.  They supply many different industries with machined parts. R&M needed a sell sheet which highlighted the unique capabilities within the precision machining division.  The front of this sell sheet contains a brief overview of the company and the precision machining division.  The back lists R&M’s extensive equipment inventory and their precision machining capabilities in detail. 
 
Sell sheets are a helpful tool for sales and technical people as a leave behind with customers.  This particular piece has been printed for use by the sales team when visiting customers and is also used electronically by the R&M team.

Kendall Packaging Brochure/Flier

 

The wave design of this brochure is symbolic of the printing process. Similar to the way substrate materials flow through the press, your eye is carried across the front cover on the wave and into the brochure.  A new W&H printing press is the highlight of the piece with a strong focus on the customer benefits and the added capabilities the press offers.  While this was an announcement piece for Kendall, it also reaffirmed to current customers Kendall Packaging’s continued commitment to innovation and reinvestment in the company.

R&M Mfg. Inc. Logo

R&M Mfg. Inc. is a precision machining, custom fabrication and assembly company.  The R&M logo design incorporates the industrial nature of the business.  We had some fun when we created this logo by making it look like it is made out of metal. The letters are dimensional and have shadow for depth, as if they were cut from steel.

Appleton Snake Ad

This is a strong, edgy image building ad for a company in a conservative industry. It brings up the classic debate that their customers face... How much public information is good and how much is too much, thus tipping off competition to what you’re doing. Sometimes in business there is a conscious decision to stand out from the pack, and other times the decision is to lay low and approach a project in stealth. This ad speaks to that dynamic and conveys to their customers that they are comfortable working either way. The design is simple with very limited text, letting the large graphic image of a green snake and headline send the message clearly.

How do you promote a seminar to an entire industry?  One easy way is to design an eye catching ad that appears on the back cover of one of the most prominent industry trade journals.  This concept based ad was very successful in building interest in the seminar.  Its contemporary photo and catchy headline stand out among the more traditional ad designs. This ad was so successful that it was re-used each year with updated text.

The Collared Scholar Rack Card

Rack cards work well in brochure display cases, at tradeshows and in office displays. They are printed on card stock and are extremely effective if they have an eye catching design that is able to quickly convey information to the reader. This dog training business chose to use the rack card format to market their services in veterinary offices and reception areas. Rack cards also work well for travel and tourism, and service businesses in general.

Dances With Dogs Newspaper Ads

The Dances With Dogs ads, were not large in scale, but were definitely large in presence.  The eye catching images and text called out for the reader’s attention in this often cluttered medium.  An occasional use of minimal color also enhanced the ad when needed.

Appleton Frog AD

You can’t pass this ad without stopping to read it.  This is a classic image building ad, letting potential customers know that this quality vendor welcomes new business, and it also provides some information on the products the company produces.  By design, limited text was used, so not to clutter the message.  No on can resist the great large photo of the red eyed frog.  As a matter of fact, this ad was so popular with the people who saw it, that requests were made to print it again!

American Plastics Tri-Fold Brochure

The standard tri-fold brochure can be spiced up by combining a simple contemporary design with interesting papers.  This particular tri-fold brochure was designed with that in mind. Why not change the paper it’s printed on to keep it interesting?  Some may be printed on a modern sleek looking paper and even coated for gloss. Others may be printed on a textured paper or colored paper to grab attention.  A basic layout works with whatever you choose, whatever your mood…   That’s fun!

Dances with Dogs Rack Card

In keeping with the bright, cheerful and fun theme, the rack card design brings in the company's brand image through the use of a colorful design that catches the eye of anyone who sees it.  The photos show the state of the art facility and the text information contained on both sides highlight the benefits and services of the business.  No one can walk past this card without noticing it immediately.

The rack card is so colorful and eye catching that you can’t resist picking it up and reading it!  Creative Concepts worked to combine images and text that would be attractive to potential customers and the end product was a tremendous success.  This rack card stands out more than any other marketing piece on the display racks! Inflex Brochure

The playful use of free hand drawings communicates all of the attributes of this material on the front cover.  The design’s humor takes a technically oriented product and makes light of what can otherwise be dry information.  The use of color, easy to read graphs and short bulleted text help to communicate product attributes easily.  The background pattern and color also coordinates well with the company’s corporate brochure.

NEX Brochure

The goal was to convey an upscale, unique image for this busy plastic manufacturing company.  The use of a concept photo on the cover of a pearl in an oyster shell conveys the company's brand message of quality craftsmanship. Inside, the brochure goes into more detail on the product benefits and company capabilities.  This eye catching simple design begs the reader to open the brochure to make the connection from the cover image to the company inside.  A classy coordinating folder creates a powerful marketing presentation for the company's printed materials.

Argotec Logo

A modern company on the move – that is the feeling one gets from this logo. The clean design is futuristic and progressive.  The swish graphic element in the yellow/red gradient makes one think of speed, almost as if the name itself were pushing its way into the earth’s atmosphere like a meteor from outer space.  Look out competition; it’s going to be hard to keep up with this company!

The Collared Scholar Logo

This logo design needed to focus on the educational aspect of the business and the positive training techniques used.  The unique two dog image is a play on the eyes, and creates visual interest in an otherwise intense graphical element.

"For the Collared Scholar Training School, we wanted to project a serious image in our logo that would convey confidence in our abilities as dog trainers. The stark black dog, standing erect, head high adorned with a graduation cap, combined with the silhouette of a smaller dog as a negative image beneath accomplishes this exactly. Creative Concepts came up with this idea very quickly and we just loved it! We have had many compliments on this logo as it successfully defines who we are and what we have to offer."

Pawsitively Dunn Logo

Pawsitively Dunn is a professional dog grooming business that wanted their new logo design to effectively incorporate the "fun" aspect of dog grooming.  This was ultimately achieved with the use of cartoon like imagery and a whimsical font.  The graphics also encourage thoughts about the benefits of keeping your pet clean and well groomed. 

"Opening a new grooming shop and not really knowing what I wanted for my grooming logo was made easier by having someone who had the knowledge and experience to put together some professional yet fun samples with some great ideas.  Not only did it make my life easier to have this expertise, but now I have a logo that I am very happy with!"

Quabbin Valley Technology

The requirement for this project was to ensure that the new logo design tied in nicely with the company’s tag line and focus on the home.  Ultimately, the use of blocks and an outline of a house established the connection.  The desire for clean linear text and a modern feel was achieved with the horizontal design and use of simple vector images.

Rayflex Logo

The name itself indicates that this product has something to do with the sun!  The corporate branding is present through the use of the modern ending X design and colors.  The font also carries through to match the company’s other branded products.  Crisp black lettering and gradient blues pop off pages with light background colors and bring in a modern feel.

Simple Pleasures Logo

Nature, calm, water, enjoyment, outdoors – are just few words that describe what comes to mind when you look at this logo, and the fish are just a bonus! The goal for this project was to design a simple logo that would work well in a variety of marketing and promotional pieces. This logo looks great on hats and clothing, as well as on printed materials. It is memorable, and brings in the colors of nature and the outdoor environment.

Rice Oil and Propane Letterhead

To save printing costs, this letterhead  was designed so that it could be used by all of the Rice divisions. It incorporates each address across the bottom, with the headquarters' information prominently placed in the middle of the page.  

Bleeding off the top left edge, the logo contains vibrant colors against a crisp white background.  This draws the eye upward to where the letter would begin.

St. Brigid's Church Magnet

A calendar is a great way to remind people of special dates.  St. Brigid's Church decided to use this calendar to remind parishoners of the catholic holidays throughout the year.  In addition, there is a schedule of services listed.  The magnet is a useful marketing tool that can be placed in a highly visible area within the household, such as on a refrigerator.

Rice Oil and Propane Door Hanger

How do you leave a calling card behind on the products or services you offer when no one is home?  There is nothing better than a door hanger to do just that! 

Rice Oil and Propane wanted to highlight two of their special products, particularly Bioheat, which appeals to people who are looking for "green" heating alternatives.  The door hanger was designed with one side focused on Bioheat and the other side on propane.  It can be placed on the door knob with the desired side facing out.  Both sides are coated for a glossy finish.

At the bottom of the door hanger there is a perforated business card that can be removed.  The Rice Oil and Propane delivery specialst can check off the star next to his name, so the customer knows who was there. The customer can then keep that card with the contact information on it for future reference.
